Either I havnt riden enough or it doesn't get hot enough here (triples) but if it's so hot the my kickstand is sinking into the asphalt I'm either not riding in the heat with a 984cc aircooled v-twin inbetween my legs or I'm parking my bike inside/away from the sun as much as possible.

I use an empty soda can. Essentially free and if I forget it then no big deal. I've used the can in 90+ weather on fresh black top....the can did sink a little but it did the job.

I've lost 3 of those plastic feet so whatever I can find at the time or I just don't park on black top in the summer

I use a Kickstand Pad for my 600RR. Haven't bought one for the Buell yet. I originally bought mine from their site but you can't purchase them individually from their site anymore. I haven't had it parked on any asphalt on an extremely hot day to really test it, but no problems so far.

I had my kickstand sink on my old EX-500 in a parking lot one day and I came out to it laying on it's side so I wasn't going to take any chances with my RR or my Buell.

It has a hole to attach a lanyard. I just roll the bike back a little and pick it up.

Can't really find them without someones logo plastered on it now. [down]
