Lightning or Ulysses?

I've been looking at Lightnings, I test rode an Scg a year ago and found it very comfortable. Now I am thinking of a Ulysses because I like to take off on the highway and would like some storage space, or at least somewhere to put my lunch while I ride to work.

Does the Uly ride/handle/corner much different than a Lightning? Can I put Ulysses bags on a Lightning?

I'd prefer an Scg, but they don't seem to come up for sale often. Is the difference between the Scg and the regular Lightning just in the tail section and seat, so I could swap it over?

better ride um both, "much different" is kind of a vague term. will the lightning smoke a uly on the road yep. search "bags" at the top of the page for your bag dreams. and the scg has a lowered suspension compared to all other models. p.s. the stt is quite cool (hint) but even rarer than the scg.
