No help here sorry about that. I used to know the place for a transport company that did cars but I can't remember the name of it. Hopefully there is nothing wrong with the bike. I don't buy anything myself without personally checking the whole thing over first.

I found a company who will ship it for 629.00 in an enclosed trailer with a cover on it right from his door to mine. Said that it will take 14 days at the most..So I guess I dont have to worry about it now...Thank you guys...Oh and for the road trip idea, Thats a bad idea. I suck at driving in snow...I just bought it and would destroy it before I even got out of that state...

San Angelo which is 5 hours north west of you...I drive that almost every 3 months so the ex wife can visit her son..

Your paying too much, go to Uship.com, sign up, then list $450 as the offer your willing to pay.

You can thank me later.

I agree uship.com but be prepared to possibly wait longer. sometimes those shippers take their sweet time. just a fair warning..

Congrats I am sure you are so happy to get the bike. I was ecstatic when I picked mine up even though it was 20 degrees outside and December. Now it is getting closer to riding time. Another 2 months max and it will be time to ride again.

Thats the great thing about texas...It was 83 degrees on 4FEB08...But the day that it will get here it will probably snow, or the coldest day in history for this area...I have that kinda luck..lol
