TPS reset on an 07 XB12Scg?

Can anyone tell me the correct way to perform a TPS reset on an 07 XB12Scg? Going to be ordering a race ECM from EBR soon and I'm pretty sure I'll need to do a reset at that point and I'm still fairly new to the modding world.

Is there a way to do it without ECMspy and the cable? I thought I read elsewhere on the forum that you can do it without that equipment.

If the bike is an '08+, there's a DIY procedure. For the earlier models, it's ECMSpy or dealer.
