WTB Black on Black XB12SS

I just joined this forum as I have decided to sell my 2006 Honda 599 and purchase a Lightning. However, I will only buy a black on black XB12SS. I have fallen in love and have been looking on craigslist, ebay, and cycle trader but to no avail. Being a forum fanatic with my current and previous vehicles I knew that joining this forum would be a smart step in finding my dream bike. I live in MI, so a bike in Michigan, Indiana or Ohio is preferred, but if the price is right I will pay to have the bike shipped to MI.

There is like 4 plastic parts on those bikes that have some kind of color, buy a red,blue pink or whatever and drop the plastics to your local painter. A few bucks later,there's your black on black :).

I am also interested in a black on black XB12Scg.

I spent several hours today looking for a 2008 or 2009 and have come up short handed. WOW! It looks like this will be a long and tedious hunt.

I will try and help broaden your search some. Look at STT ad's as well. They are the same wheelbase as the SS and many have been converted to the standard S trim. That's what I bought and I love my bike. http://www.buellxb.com/buell_images/7318_20100722114043_L.jpg
