Great to have a Buell

OK, I was at the Carlisle bike show this past weekend. There was about 4k to 5k bikes at the show before noon. Of course it was so hot people were not staying long. Just watching the bikes come in gate three for about an hour I racked up a count of 823.

Here is where I'm going with everything. I walked all around the fairgrounds a number of times and watched the bike come in one of the three gates. I counted a total of 4 Buell's at the show. It was great being the odd ball of the bunch. I seen people taking pictures of my bike a few times in passing. When I was getting ready to leave, I had a couple guys come over and talk to me. They loved the look of the bike. One guy called it a Beast. The other said it just looks evil sitting there. Made me feel real good not looking like everyone else. After seeing every other bike looking the same, just different colors and who could have the most chrome. The only other bikes that stood out were the high-end choppers and rat rod bobbers.

I love my BUELL!

I love it when I roll up to either a Japanese, Italian, or HD bike at a light and my bike's look and exhaust rumble gets more attention than the other bike.

Was rolling out of truck stop last week and a group of Hell's Angels were parked in the lot. A couple of them gave me a thumbs up as I cracked the throttle when I passed them.

Same here. I only saw a few other Buells. A tuber or two and I think 2 other XBs.

I've only had one guy talk to me about my bike.. I was at a redlight and he pulls up beside me in a semi lol. Kept saying how badass and sweet my bike was. He was at least somewhat knowledgeable about Buells because he knew that Harley shut them down.

Hell yeah its great Not being on a cookie cutter gixxer or sportster! I'd probably look goofy riding my bolt around if I didn't have a full face helmet too cause I'm always smiling like a midget walking around a miniskirt convention! It makes ya feel good being a little different, and riding a piece of rolling art!:D <- midget smile!

Nice one Beater. It's funny when some people ask me what I ride and I tell them a Buell. If they know bikes, I get "cool". Then there is the people that say "ah what". Some of the H-D guys at work say it not Harley, I agree, I'm not like eveyone else. Boy, do I ever get some looks.

yea ive got a busa also lots of mods.and have never gotten the remarks on it that i have gotten on my buell.a supplier that comes through our shop also has a busa kept commenting on my buell for a few months so i handed him my key.he came back smiling that was a few weeks ago tuesday he said his busa was for sale and if i knew of any buells for sale let him know.

I'll see if I can get some pics this weekend. BTW, I tried post some pics last and was having problems. What in the heck am I doing wrong? There is a trick to this, I know. I work on my Buell, tear my Jeep apart and put it back together with upgrades, but suck at this computer thing.

I bought a brand new K&N filter off a guy that had his Buell totaled the day before he received it. He bought a busa and that thing was modded to the max. He told me he still had more people checking out his Buell when he owned it. He said he was going to save up and get another Buell and keep his busa.
