ive just taken my buell out for the first run since october and there is a really bad whining noise coming from the gearbox area,this only happenes when im doing under 40mph and only when i,m givin it some throttle,it doesnt do it while clutch is in or rolling of the throttle,any idea,s people.

When is the last time you had the tranny serviced or checked the primary fluid level?

i only got the bike last october then a plug blew out the head so its bin of the road since then,its done 6000 miles,ive never checked these as of yet,

surely you justb use the dipstick in the swingarm to check the level do you not,oil level is fine in swingarm

No the oil level in the primary has to be checked through the inspection cover on the left side of the bike. Its that omega shaped cover right next to the shifter.
