For you Cali riders, I'm just off I-40. Only 3 or 4 day ride from Cali.
No Cali can to take off.:D
And just enough miles that your DMV won't care about no Cali Can.

I love this bike. But due to a medical condition I can no longer ride without pain.
This bike begs to be ridden.

Nice looking bike with alot of good stuff done already. I am sure you won't have a problem finding a buyer. If I did not have my 9 already I would be looking at it for myself!

I plan to ease the pain of selling this by buying a $32K Jeep Rubicon and spending another $5K for a lift kit and 37" tires and taking it to Uwharrie National Forest to tackle the rocks that broke one differential and a drive shaft on my '93 Wrangler.:D:D

Will do. I won't be a mall crawler. So I'll have to post one with it painted in Carolina Red Clay mud.

Beautiful week. Riding to work every day instead of the new Jeep Patriot. I can at least enjoy a ride to work before any pain starts.
I manage to turn my 7 mile ride into about 10 miles. Gotta get a couple extra 60MPH turns in.
If I don't sell it by the end of September I'll start looking into various seat options. Maybe I'll get lucky and find one that does the trick. But then I'll have to put off buying a Rubicon.

Broke the tip of my tail bone on icy steps about 3 to 4 years ago. Didn't realize it at the time. I finally went to an orthopedist when I could sit in a lab chair without pain for more than 30 minutes. My office chair is better.
X-rays showed the tip of the tail bone pointed forward 70 degrees instead of in line as it should be. Also present is degenerative osteoarthritis. So it is only going to get worse over time. I had hope the cortisone shot would help more than it did.
Need a fatter seat that I can customize so there is no pressure in the center. Sport bike seat isn't quire wide enough.
Maybe an XT tail section and seat will help. That is almost as wide as a cruiser seat.

Sorry to hear that. My mother in law has broke her tail bone a number of times (3 if my memory doesn’t fail me) so I can understand the discomfort. Hope you are able to find something that works for you.

I figure if I don't sell it buy the end of September, I might try to find an AT tail section and seat. The seat is about 50% wider than the stock or solo seats. That could provide the support to keep the pressure off.
The alternative is a cruiser with a mega fat seat bordering of a rolling sofa.
I don't ride my Buell anywhere near its limits so it would be a huge change in riding style going to a cruiser.
The main thing is that my mood goes right into the dumper when the pain starts. And that makes it hard to enjoy. I would rather my Buell be in the hands of someone who can take full advantage of it. I can not be selfish.

Nice buell! That's just the one I have been looking for. I have a 02 Ducati S4 Monster 916 I would be willing to Trade for. I know that your getting a 4x4 rig, but I had ask. Thank's , have a good one.

This bike is worth going into debt for.
Gotta love it.
I wish I had an intact tail bone. If I did, I'd be doing a different 4x4 project and keeping the Buell until my knees got too old for it or my son figured a way to get me to give it to him.

93FEE just put a bug in my ear.
I should consider a trade for a Uly. That would push me toward buying 2006 or so Jeep instead of a brand spanking new one.

Looks like I'll have both Jeeps sold this week so I can buy a new Rubicon. When I sell the Buell, I'll have the lift kit and tires fund.

Price drop, $5500. If you are 2XL, I'll throw in my Buell Mesh armored mesh jacket.

Off the market. My wife said she wants our son to be able to ride it in a couple years.
I guess I can't really complain because I got the Rubicon already.
Now I have to look for a good seat. Several options available from $100 to over $700.
