View Full Version : LEDs and reflecting rip stickers

Had a long WE here, a lot of rain and nothing else to do. Did the front LED thing and the reflecting stickers... all together for 4 USD, I guess a good deal. The LEDs look a bit to friendly, do they???

Looks nice. I've been wanting to do some LED stuff on my bike too, the translucent Buells are basically begging for it.

The rim stickers are simple 3M reflecting tape, ordered 5mm wide and 2m long for each wheel, easy to apply and hold for ever... There are certain color available, orange I have not seen but look in the WWW page.

you can get the reflective wheel trim/tape on Ebay

Certainly but not for 2 USD for 4 rims... The stickers on E-Bay are far too expensive.

We have a winner, 10 point or half a coffee machine.. Look in 3m.com... I found mine a shop for PPE... and I am waiing for the next Q&A:WTF is PPE... the 1st guy which can answer this Q gets my vote, deal?

in my line of work PPE is personal protective equipment

3m makes a bit of that, hepa breathers suits gloves and the like.

I was watching a bunch of videos from the new tron movie last night and now I really feel like my bike needs glow a whole lot more.

If you want to make it look angrier. make the LEDs in the windscreen a V shape lol.

certainly a V shape would look better but the LEDs are in a solid body of a kinda silicon... Thats limits the shapes you can do...
