Don't know if this is common knowledge, but I saw a 1:12 scale diecast of the red 1125R at Walmart today. I didn't bother to get pics, but if you can't live without one on your desk/mantle/workbench, you might find one there. I put the one at the local store in the very back if anyone wants me to pick it up. I think it was $7.

The company is Maisto, I bought my son the Ducati 848 last week. I was looking for a Buell but they are few and far just like they are on the road. On the back of the package it did say that they had the licensing for Buell.

I don't think they made a 1:12, but I think they made a 1:24. Someone on here with an orange xbs got one and painted one to match.

Maybe it was a 1:24. I'll look tomorrow; I've got to be near another WM.

Well maybe I'll try to get ahold of maisto or a dealer then. My little dude is a huge motorcycle fan and currently owns a 1:24 999s, vtr, sv650, and some four wheelers.

He's made the request for a toy version of my STT, but I'll settle for any XB.

Thanks for the info guys.

Here is a shot of one[up] Also they are 1:12 scale.

I used to have a huuuuge collection of those. Any time I was at a mall or a store for years I'd always pop into the toy section and see what I could find. I tossed them all on ebay after I sold my last bike and thought I was done riding for a while, but I definitely miss that little MV Agusta Brutale....

I have a yellow xb9s from Maisto and I found it on eBay uk from a seller from Spain! Ended up costing about $30 ish with shipping. I modified it to have a chopped tail, no mirrors, no passenger pegs, looks awsome!

Sounds like you put as much work moding your model as you do into your real bike :D . I would kill to get my hands on an XB12S model, can't seem to find anyone selling them, only 1125s and XB12r.

i have the 1125r still in the box signed by Geoff May, figure it's a nice collectors piece.

Back when I still had my triumph S4 I had to buy and extra tt600 to strip down, and then an extra speed triple to steel the gauges and headlight to make a copy of my bike. It was the only one I kept when I got rid of all the others. I'd even be interested in finding a real model someday if I could, the kind you have to build, but I haven't seen any of those either.

i bought the maisto model of the red 1125r buell got it home looked at better at it(but i left it in the box).. I was very disappointed with the build and painting quality, it's very poorly made , if i was buell i would have them stop making it. (the model looks more like some 25 cent dollar store toy)

Oh wait what the hell was i thinking buell motorcycle company probably had nothing to do with it, the greedy SOBs from HD licensing department ( i.e. the chinese made panties and leatherette chaps people) are the ones to blame they probably never looked at the prototype models, to see how good or in this case how bad it is.
