I got a pretty good deal on a like new manta xl and manta jr. the jr is for my wifes bike and I was going to attempt to use the xl. Now obviously magnets dont stick to plastic so is there a kit that can be bought so I can use this on my buell?
 
No kit that I know of, but you could do what I did on my car for the front license plate - I took some magnets from an old hard drive and placed them behind the bumper and some on the license plate itself. Works great. No holes in my bumper and the plate stays on at all speeds.

I figure you could place these under the tank using hot glue and the magnets in the bag should work...
 
Thought about that. But my transparent cover wont look as good lol. I may have some contraption sewn up
 
I have a buell tank bag that I am looking to sell. I want to get a tail bag instead. It is the deluxe one that expands. It is nice but with the bars I have on it is kinda in the way
 
i'd have to see what i cant get out of my manta. i picked up the manta xl and a manta jr for 60 bucks. i really only wanted one for my wife's bike but thought if i could make it work on mine that would be sweet. i may tinker with it soon.
