ASV C5 levers on 09 xb12Ss

Anyone using the C5 levers on their '09 Ss? ASV doesn't list anything compatible for the Ss, and only has a clutch lever listed for the '09 xb12r/s/scg (with the 8 pot caliper).
 
LOL, yup its shady. I had a huge ordeal with them. Ended up sending mine back. If you are going to order I would contact them directly in CA because they dont update their part # lists with the dealers apparently.
 
Yeah, I remember reading that you were having issues with yours...was the brake lever just not fitting correctly?

Guess I could go with the F3's, I just think I would prefer the more matte finish of the C5's...
 
Was there ever an answer on this at all?

I too have an 09 12Ss and am thinking about these levers, but just a little confused as to the possibility. Current aftermarket levers are ok but too mutch folding play for my liking and was thinking about the c5's but not if I'm swapping one annoyance for another... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i believe all the levers are the same between the models. so as long as its for the same year buell xb it should work. someone please correct me if im wrong on this.

Well mainly your brake year. Remember the 09 and 10s had the ZTL2 brake so the levers ARE different.

I know this cause i have a 2008 and bought the 2009 levers and almost flipped. Love the levers tho. crashed, dropped, levers still look new. I swear by the brand now.
 
They are not different by model, but rather they are i believe they are different by grouped years, like 03-07 XBs 08-10 XBs Something like that. I have an 09 ss ASV C5 on my 09 bolt and its fine.
 
I ended up ordering a set of the C5's through Puzzled here on the forums...they fit just fine. Tiny bit of play in the brake lever, but nothing too bad or unsafe.
