I wanted to defer to the experts out here. I ride a 2009 Buell XB12Ss...

I have upgraded the stock exhaust with the DRUMMER SS.
I have upgraded the ECM with the Eric Buell ECM for the Drummer Pipe.
Finally, I added the K&N Air Filter.

Yes, I did get some gain in power but it was no where what I had hopped.

What other options do I have?

What should I expect out of this bike? What are the limitations and where does it shine?

[confused]

As far as mass gain you really won't get much.

One would be a swap in the pulleys through either your local dealer, scrap together, or go to American Sport Bike for all you need. You can do a Primary reduction, which is the gearing out of an XB9, that in turns gains you a 10% increase in low end torque but robs you of 10% high end speed.

Agreed, gearing is about the only option you have unless you want to spend some serious cash. Turbocharger is the next step, big dollars in the buell world though.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned a REAL tune yet. Not just poping on a ECM mapped my some dude that's been working with buells for a whopping 1 year total. (it's the truth)

NGK plugs, Full length header, and do some data logging, or dyno tuning. That should help your butt dyno out. Throw that EBR ecm away. They are hit or miss.

Who do they have working for Erik? I would have thought of all Buell products the EBR ecm would be a respectable one[sad]

My thoughts exactly. I've only done a K&N and the GB exhaust, but the gains from that combo with stock ECM were pretty impressive. I've signed up for theoctopus' tuning session next month. That'd be a reasonably priced thing for you to explore.
