I have a customized "stock" exhaust...so we'll start there.
For my mods to the bike I had to shorten the muffler. The muffler is "piped" the same as stock... just shorter. I hooked up a MANUAL lever to the(internal)exhaust bypass. When I open the bypass it is still REAL quite. I was expecting something similar to drag pipes. Shouldn't it be straight threw when open ??? I've seen the muffler sketch on the forum. So I guess I'm looking for an "expert" on Buells to let me know whats going on internally. So I guess I'm asking if on a stock buell with the servo hooked up... when it opens is it still "quite"????. I'm guessing that the exhaust "chamber" is still "functioning" even with the bypass open.
