Hey all,

Been a while since I was on but after searching for a few days, still no 'plug-n-play' ECM for 08+ XB9s? Nothing either on EBR and I was hoping to be able to get my bike optimized during winter storage. Not keen on the whole remapping thing as I am a bit gunshy and tech handicapped...

Looks like I may have to upgrade to EBR's new bike after all...:p
 
Try sending EBR an email. They should be able to work something up for you.

I was also looking at getting an EBR ECM for my '10 xb9sx. I sent an email and here is the response I got

---Our apologies for the delay in responding. We were hoping to see if we could
schedule in getting this calibration done soon, but we can't. So it is on
our list of calibrations to do, but we do not have a scheduled date for
completion.

Sounds like they plan on doing it sometime. So the more of us that email in and ask about it, hopefully they will get some maps for them.

I'll be waiting for this as well for my '10 xb9sx. Hopefully it gets done before they do something silly like lose focus on the 'old' bikes in favor of new things.
 
What exhausts do you guys have that your are looking for the ECM for? Might help pursuade them if there are multiple of us looking for the same exhaust.

I am still debating between a Hawk / D&D exhaust.
 
I've been looking at the GB Exhaust myself for my '09 XB9SX. Was going to contact EBR and ask them about this too...
 
First, the GB exhaust is pure sex.

Second, you guys should take the opportunity to join my last group webinar for this Saturday. All you need is a pen and paper. If you take good notes, and ask tons of questions, you'll walk away being totally comfortable with the tuning process. You can then apply the principles on your own time, and contact me with any tech support you may need.
 
I sent EBR an email yesterday and this is the response I got:
I was wondering if you might be working on an ECM for my 2009 XB9SX? I currently have the Jardine carbon fiber muffler and K&N air filter installed and I’m experiencing a lot of popping on deceleration and the steady cruise has a little “miss” every now and then. Do you plan to have an ECM for my bike or should I start looking for a “custom” tune?

Hello Bill,

We have the muffler and an XB9SX to develop a calibration.
My lead calibration tech has been absent for about eight weeks, but expect him back late this month.
I would hope to have a XB9 Jardine calibration in February.

Awesome news! I bugged them this week about it too, maybe they're seeing the potential sales?:)
