I have an 07 xb12r with stock signals. I am looking to add some bar end LED signals. I know I will need an ep36 dealy to stop the fast flashing. 1.) do I have to make the rest of my signals LED to do this? 2.) Having the bar end signals, will this make it so the front signals do not operate? (I wouldnt mind getting rid of front signals but would like to keep the stock ones in the rear.) Thanks for the help! -nemesis

It all depends on how you wire it. If you splice into the current signal wires, it will keep them working. If you just reroute the wires like I did, obviously those stock signals wont work.

As for the relay, I can't remember if mine is a EP36 or EP35. One flashed too slow. Fast blinkers aren't bad. It's more visible.

im running the led bar end blinkers(same ones as dave thanks for the link;)) and have stock rears with the stock relay as of now planning on getting the ep36 but the fast blinking is fine for now, would rather it blink fast then super slow.. looks great i love them so far!!

I have this. Its yours $10.00 paypal shipped. I only needed one.

Thanks for the advice, just ordered some oberon's. A little on the expensive side but I think they will be worth it. just thinking about where to drill the holes to run the wires through the bars.... any thoughts? Also Jobe, pardon my stupidity but what is that? the ep36 thing?

i will take a few pics on Monday when i go back to work for you. it was a a pretty simple install hardest part is fishing the wires threw cuz i drilled the smallest holes i possibly could.

Nemesis, it's a resistor, not a relay. It basically just draws more power so the relay thinks it's the same voltage draw as regular bulbs. One advantage of using LEDs is using less power. This defeats that purpose.

Dave, good to know. rah, I cant get the link to work but just do an ebay search for oberon bar end signals.
( I like the look of them better than the K & S ones even though i'm paying much more for the sexyness.)

Glad I stumbled across this thread. I traded my firebolt in for a ully. I'm want to mount the turn signals into the brush guards and place the mirrors @ the bar ends. I know bar end mirrors exist, but have not ran across the brush guard turn signal combination. Any tips would be welcomed
