Well, I haven't forgotten about you guys, been super busy lately with home re-model and 3 jobs. But in my spare time I have been designing the 3 parts I had mentioned, and will use this as a Progress thread when I have something to show. Right now I am working on the integrated turn signal for the firebolt as im just waiting on acrylic stock to come in to start making the timing covers. Next will the the headlight covers for teh Firebolt. Once I have the parts up in Solidworks, I will post a pic.

still needs lots of work to make it blend and look functional, but this is the basis I have made sofar

Will be finishing the final product once I fit it tonight and make sure its right. More blended curves, extruded surfaces for the LED, and clear urethane for the front clip...
 
That I'm talking to the guy about, might give it a run on Monday next week.... probably going to make a mold of the tank Thursday and go from there...
 
Well, looks like I got a process to make the tanks, just need to make a complex mold. What all would you like besides just acrylic tanks? Something special done to them?
 
I would just simply dig a smoked tank cover that doesn't cost hundreds of dollars. I would paint over a portion of it anyway I would just like to make people scratch their head wondering were the gas goes :D
