Don't know anything about tuning so might as well go that route. Wondering you lives in WI to do some riding?? and if anyone of ya can do a TPS reset for me?dealer wants like $80+ for one!!

I already have about 250 miles on. I had my bike out back in february when we had that warm streak for a few days. Roads got washed from the rain this weekend and Appleton has the street sweepers out. I just would wash my bike after every ride when they were still stalty

Bad idea riding your bike on salty roads, even if you wash it every time. your engine isn't protected like that of a car. Its pretty much a cardinal sin in the motorcycle world.

I agree, you'll never get all the salt off. Yes the aluminum might pit a little and corrode after a while, but the way I look at it I won't own my bike long enough for it to have any major negative effects. She doesn't like sitting in the garage so she gets ridden salt or no salt. Can't rust the plastic :D

well looks like we making some headway here. Looks like ill still be in watertown/oconomowoc area for a while longer so im down for it. All ya guys in ocon/okauchee and madison area. Just waiting on odie to ship my exhaust back, that about all im waiting for now!!

I just can't wait til summer, i go up to eagle river, spooner, ladysmith, mountain, and hurley all the time fishing and drinking, and always take the bike up. Thats some great riding up there, zipping the backroads through the northwoods, couldnt ask for more!!

Great area to ride! I don't think there is a straight road for more than 100 yards in sight around there! You will love it!
