Im putting a new rear tire put on next week so i figured i would get the rim powder coating since its looking like ****. I called a local guy and he quoted me 110 for sandblasting and powdercoating it black. Does that sound fair? seems kind of pricey to me

More than fair, gota remember, depending on the color, he may be having to setup just for your wheel because of color choice when he could be doing 50 parts same color....that raises the price, Also needing to tape off bearing surfaces takes more time which = more $$$

I payed $460 for all of this, plus another tail section and a set of crossroad bars. Specifically for a set if wheels I was quoted $70, but it all depends on your location. I would say $110 is a far price.

I got both wheels, foot pegs and heel guards powder coated satin black for 130. Can't wait to get home and put them all on the bike.
