Might be a long post but from the words of EBR and need some info.
Bought a ebr ecm(preprogrammed for spec ops) and just shot them and email out of curiousity about reset TPS through ECMspy on their ecms. This was their response:

You could try ECM Spy, but we really have seen a lot of issues with that software on our race ECM's. It is a hacked piece of software and it doesn't
recognize when we make firmware changes that for optimization may move functions to different addresses on the board. ECM Spy just blindly changes
address items based on the version of firmware that was hacked to create it. So sometimes it works, sometimes not, and we have seen ECM's made completely
non-functional by it.

Our electronics guru recommends not even using it for TPS resets. I know that means going to a dealer, which may not be convenient, but the tool they
use, Digital Tech, has not caused any issues. You can try using ECM Spy, but if it changes the settings on the O2 sensor input for example, while thinking it is changing the TPS, then there will be drivability problems.

We are going to develop a simple tool that can do this, but that is months
away.

Question is has anyone ever had issues with reseting TPS on a EBR ecm with ecmspy??

No, but mine did turn off the O2 and I was wondering why the bike was running a little weird.

Has anyone ever found out if EBR did eventually make a way to reset the TPS without having to go to the dealer?

Ill be very interested to hear when this program fix is available too.
I used ECMspy to swap my 07 Firebolt from stock to race ecm and reset my tps. I also shut off the active muffle control. I put a k&n filter and jardine pipe on the bike. I read on here that you should use the race ecm with the filter and exhaust mods. Since then my bike runs very rough, throws an "02 sensor lean" code, and it feels like it shuts itself down for a second or two after running for a couple of seconds. I reset my eeprom back to what I saved as stock when I first got ECMspy. Runs just the same. Rough and confounding me to no end.

Just shoot them an email. It took a couple days, but they got back with me on a recent question.

I have the EBR ecm and use VDSTS for resets. I really didn't the learning curve for ecm spy and din't want to chance screwing things up.

It seems to misread fault codes sometimes. I was chasing a historic coil fault and had the air temp sensor unplugged. It throws another fault, and even though the air temp should have it's own code, it throws something completely different.

Might be a good thing for EBR to make something for their own stuff.
