Anyone who has done the caliper relocation have any issues with the caliper not bleeding properly or the pads not making full contact? I used my Mightyvac and had no luck, first time ever it wouldnt work, pads just dont seem to make full contact.I will take it to my buddys shop down the street, see what hes can do.[confused]

I remember it took me a long time to get my brembo to bleed properly. Probably close to two hours of pumping and bleeding before it would finally make adequate pressure.

Been a lurker for some time but thought I might chime in on this. There is a sticky thread on an Aprilia forum that mentions postitioning the rear brake (Brembo) two different ways to get the optimum bleed. One releases air from the the line and the other from the cylinder chamber. I can try to locate it for you and there has been much talk of success from this procedure as the Tuono models (well, all Aprilia models) have a very spongy back brake and has been a thron in many a rider's side!

One of the better write ups I have read,I will give this a shot.My buddy at the shop looked it over and thinks their might be an spacing issue, looks like the clutch side pad in out as far as it can go and barely making contact with the rotor, only touching on the top the left side makes contact but not enough to even slow the bike down[confused]

Speed Bleeders (http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/622502.html?1301595980)

Usually the problem with bleeding the Brembos is that when we install then at the rear the bleeder is not at the top so air stays trapped. Try removing the caliper (leaving the line attached), stick a block of wood between the pads, and ahold the caliper in the air with the bleeder at the top.

Or just buy a speed bleeder and call it good :)

Alright,so it is not the fact that I had air in the line,it was ,and all of you fellow Buellers looking to save a buck on this mod listen up,it was the caliper.I bought it on fuc@*n ebay thinking I was getting a deal at $50,ya I got a freakin Thiwa****anez model, turns out it is a Brembo knockoff. My buddy at the shop was puzzled by the lack of contact so he took the thing apart and it is very poor quality,so crapy it wouldnt push the pistions out all the way[mad][mad] So,you have been warned, spend the money and get the right one

It took me a couple of hours with my brake bleeder to get it. I also primed the brake by hand and bleed it like a car.
