Anyone here running a tank pad on their tank? Does it make the tank look cluttered? Looking on the web there are tons out there.

i think if you have the buell decals on the "airbox cover" then a tank pad would make it look cluttered, if not then i think they look cool. If your worried about scratching it up, then get one, if you think they are cool get one. Its more of a personal thing i think

Are you talking about buckle guards or tank grips(on the sides)?

I don't think they look cluttered, but I think the tank pads look out of place because you have to position them so much higher than you can on a normal gsxr/cbr tank. You've gotta cut them shorter for it to really fit right. I like the shape of the ones that are made for buells, but I don't want a silver one, or a carbon fiber one. I'll eventually order the high fusion rubber one, but I haven't gotten around to it.
