soo...I'll be seeing him on the 8th here in Chicago for a craftsman experience http://facebook.com/craftsman I'm gonna take in a brand new wind screen for my 9sx for him to sign off? any suggestions? Has anyone ever met him? Ive heard he''s a really personable guy.... I'm just worried about the crowd and asking him .. I shouldn't be nervous.... should I? He wouldn't have any problems signing off on a windscreen vs a t shirt ? would he??

He signs all kinds of stuff. I would think he would rather sign a bike part over a shirt. Tons of guys had him sign there frames, fairings, and anything else they could get ahold of at the Buell Homecoming last year and Erik was more than happy to sign them.

Funny I was just checking out your Bike build and profile... Muskegon?? you need to take a ride through Chicago.. or possible lake Michigan circle..! Thats a relief.. not surprised he seems like an awesome guy.. It's going to be an aired event on motorcycle tv I believe? I guess its a matter of beating the crowd and getting a good seat.

I have met Erik 3 times he is just an everyday guy when you talk to him.
HE Loves signing bike parts has my Frame on my 1125r and the rear seat cowl of my XB.
Don't be nervous if you get any alone time he is really easy to talk.

You'll go a long way to find someone more passionate about their product - ask him politely and I'm sure he will oblige.

I had the opportunity to speak to him at the 1125 launch in Australia and it made my year - very interesting man.

Thanks guys... I guess I was just looking for that reassurance[up] Can't wait... also it will be televised LIVE through craftsman experience for all that are interested in watching.
