Dude, I love it. Reminds me of the Buell Battle Twin. That's the colors I'm doing mine this coming winter. I'm going to do orange frame, rear sets, and swingarm, black plastics, and some white stuff. Can't decide on orange wheels, or black. Sort of a retro to the start of Buell.

Thanks.I wanted something a bit more standout than the Artic white,I did all the powdercoating at my brother-in laws, thanks Tony, rims, rear disc, pulley belt, heal gaurds, seat rails, and fairing stay. The paint is rattle can,it's ment for outdoor plastic patio furniture,so it's got uv protection as well.Painted the windscreen after I chopped it down about 4 1/2",cannt see out of it anyway, and had the rear p-pad covered in an orange vinyl from some boat upholstery, again uv protected, only cost $80 to have done, hell of a lot cheaper then the glass unit fron the UK and then having to paint it.Also put on a new D&D pipe, love it,and some new skins,190 out back.Thats it for now till I can set some more cash aside,I want the plug and play rear master cylinder and a real Brembo caliper[smirk] Thanks for the good words, always nice to pull off something my fellow Buellers like:D I'll post a few more pics later.

What parts are needed to change the Firebolt to a Lightning. Does anyone have a good how to or parts list?

I'm not sure about how people do it now,I have seen some pretty hefty parts lists,I did the swap about 2 maybe 3 years ago, with climberfreak, the older members will remember that time,we just took off our seats and sub frame rails and all parts that came off with it,and sent it to eachother and put the bikes back together.Check with the search button for their are a few write ups in good detail about the swap.Just do it.;)
