Would it be possible to remove the original gauges( and yes I know you can remove them) and replace it with a digital monitor?

Sure you can, they just need the tach wired into the spark plug wires, and usually some with a magnet setup that attaches to the wheel somewhere for the speedometer.

Well it doesnt sound to complicated but I'm sure it is. Would it be possible to wire it up with the original wires or am I gonna have to make something up?

You could mount a smart phone and get a gps speedo application. Cheapest route.

Search google for moto gadget. Its a german company. Or even youtube and add the word Buell and you'll come up with some cool stuff. Id do it for you but that takes all the fun out of it for you!

[down] You really need to rethink the "helpful statements you make. There are WAY cheaper options than getting a damn smart phone and paying monthly internet fees for a speedometer thats not waterproof nor a replacement option like the guy is asking for.

sorrell45, for the price, i really like this one Trail Tech Vector (http://www.bikebandit.com/trail-tech-vector-motorcycle-computer-kit?WT.mc_id=1484958&CAWELAID=352099718). Meant for off road use so you know it can withstand the elements and it has a lots features to display.
