Hey everyone I've got an 08 xb12r and I just got it back from dyno tune. The only issue now is that when the bike warms up the thing idles like shit. Any ideas? I rather not take my bike back since it would be weeks before I could get it back in. So any help would be great.

Idles like shit is a vague statement, is it dropping low, stuttering, surging? I know when I did my first TPS reset I messed it up and set the idle a touch high, which caused all three symptoms on my 06 XB12R, you could try and reset the TPS and verify idle settings.

* Disclaimer - I'm not a professional anything I just have opinions and ideas.. (most of em bad I'm told)

Tps resets are different than 07 and earlier. You can't adjust the idle. And when I come to a stop my Rpms jump from 1200 down to 400 and back to 12 then 800 it's died 4 times on me now

Do a TPS reset with the Keyswitch.1st-turn on Start/Kill switch.Turn on Key to run.DO NOT start the bike YET.2-Twist the Throttle to Wide open(slightly Firm) for 1,second to Slightlyfirm off throttle 1,second. Do this [3 times] only complete. Turn off the key switch.Turn off the Kill switch. Turn on the key then the Start/Kill switch, let the Engine Light go off Start the Bike. Do not touch the Throttle. Just let it idle for a Minute Especially if the Engine is Cold. Steadly Twist the Throttle up to 2000,rpms.Don't Blip the Throttle.Let it off then idle about 15/25 seconds.Bring the throttle up to 3000,rpms,and off. Then let it Idle 15 seconds or so.You are ready to go.The REASON I say to let it Idle is so you can watch the Tach.for a steady Rpm.This TPS reset should be done on the 08+ bikes about every fill up.OR at least every two fill ups.Hope this will help you.~Jimi
