Pipe question

Hey everyone, Ive been lookin at everyones custom pipe builds and think their great. I just want to make mine straight pipes though..anyone recommend it (for sound) or does it just ruin the whole bike power wise. or backpressure wise. I saw the glasspack builds and their awesome but I think just straight pipes with small baffles at the back would be cool?

lemme know if you have any experience with stock pipes, i just really want that open header sound, i dont ride it everywhere or at high speeds, just short cruisin and around town. thanks!

I've heard of one guy doing it, I think it was over on the buelletin board though, if you don't have anyone to tune for it afterward I wouldn't suggest it, and if you're not worried about the power loss I'd say go for it

i can tune it off the race maps, just didnt know if anyone has done it and if they suggest deleting the air box, i just didnt wanna cut up my air box cover. my 03 has the snorkel in frame and was hopin that brings in enough air with a inner air box delete or not
