Hey guys,

Pulled my airbox cover off today and here's what I saw (below). There are two grooves for what look like tubes, but there were none there... am I missing something? It's a 2005 XB9SX that I picked up from the original owner 3 weeks ago.

I'm thinking it could just be a standard airbox they use for different models that utilize those parts, etc. but wanted to be sure -

Thanks!

a part goes there that is only used on the 12 models. the 9's dont have it. its an exhaust servo motor

Yaa those two spaces that run to the top of the airbox are for the interactive exhaust valve controller that is usually mounted on top of the airbox. as long as there are no warning lights on the dash there are no worries.
