Hey guys I need someone who could fabricate a custom bracket. Long story short cj is sending me all my parts back and I need someone who would be willing to try and make a bracket to hold everything together.

this is what I'll be working with. The pic with plastics its just sitting there so it will line up better once assembled. Going to need to hold the two lights together, and then the body work and attach it to the forks or the standard lightning mounting points.

If anyone feels down to help me tackle this please let me know. 334-329-9047 (Brandon) or msg me on here.

why metal? wouldn't it be easier and lighter to try to fab it out of some sort of material like carbon fiber? probly be easier to find someone who could work with those materials rather than metal for such a big job but goodluck

Just figured a metal bracket would be easier and more structurally sound? Am I wrong [confused]

Metal is definitely heavier and it conducts any heat coming from the headlight assembly to the plastics screwed into the same piece of metal.(I don't know if the heat would make the plastics more brittle around the mounting holes.) Aluminum might be a compromise, perhaps a little tougher to weld.

Are you guys fucking high on pcp? Stock light brackets on these bikes are metal, at least my lightning was. I'd say making molds for carbon fiber would take more time and money than metal.

your right it would take more time and more money for carbon fiber but trying to find someone to make a bracket of metal for the application probly going to be harder to find someone who will take on a metal job like that as opposed to someone with the skill to mold carbon fiber or even fiberglass for that matter. Just an idea if he couldn't find someone who could or would take on the job of making it out of metal, its another route he could go.

I would definitely help, but seeing that your in AL and i'm in WI it would be nearly impossible.
