I couldn't find much on this site, so I'm going to make one.
Like many of us Firebolts I would like to add mirrors that have turn-signal built in. Now I am thinking of adding the 1125 mirrors but I don't know how it wires up. Does this mirror just have two wires that sick out or is their a connector at the end. Iv heard that the 1125R mirrors also don't work too well on our bikes due to the angle of our front firings. So a buddy of mine suggested I should get mirrors of an aprelia. I talk to an owner of an Aprilia and he said their mirror suck. So now I was looking at Ducati ones. Does anyone have any experience with either of these.

never done this but i am looking at doing this to my bolt also. stock signals have two wires so i would guess that it would be the same two wire set up on the mirrors just have to find a way to route the wires. As for other brands would the bolt holes line up?

I have seen a few guys on here who added the 1125R mirrors on their bikes.

The mirrors have two wires that come out the end, and each wire has a connector, similar to the ones on a firebolt's turn signals. Since they are LED lights though, you may have to get a new signal flasher that works with LED's.

As far as the fitment, I know that they do fit, just not sure about the angle...

I tried the 1125R mirrors on my XB12R, they would work but had limited view. Holes would have to be put in the faring and faring bracket for the wires, no big deal. I think the wires would have to be extended to reach the stock harness. I did not like the setup and quickly sold the mirrors. The extended mirrors on my 09 are much better than the short ones on the 04.
As far as Ducati mirrors are concerned, I tried a mirror from my 1098, no way! They are very poor on the 1098 and even worse on my XB12R.

cyccon is the OEM mirror supplier for the XBR and 1125R bikes. They also supply for ducati & some other euro brands.

They are the "best". But, expect to pay ~$200 for a set of LED mirrors.

I've been exchanging emails w/ them for the last couple weeks about mirrors for an XB9R... the ones I wanted, they dont have anymore.

***the cheaper ebay ones, from my experience vibrate alot. Dont have as high quality a mirror and the wireing isn't routed in the nicest/cleanest way.

Cyccon's are great. The ones I got are not at all like the 1125R mirrors. They are a flat glass and provide an excellent rear view. I am 6'4" @ 240 lbs and a 50" chest and can see strait back fine. And they offer an extended view out to the sides limiting blind spots. I went with the non-LED version and replaced the blinker and glass. Then added the '10 XB rear factor turn signals for $17 a piece from the dealership. They look like they were OEM spec the whole way around. The non LED were about $160 to my door.

As far as install they are easy too. All that is required is the removal of the old mirrors and turns signals. Drill a small hole through the fairing between the two mirror mounting bolt holes. Route the wire through leaving the fairing unbolted. Run the wires (DOWN THE INSIDE SUPPORT, THEY WILL FIT, AND HIDE UP CLEAN) to the original turn signal connectors. Plug in. Test. Bolt it all up. I used factory hardware, I like the OEM look an it is smoooooth.

If my dumb ass could figure out how to post a link to my original post I would.
