I am new to customizing. I don't have the cash for powder coating or any of that right now. I was thinking about trying the "home Brew" anodizing, but could I just get some paint? I want my foot pegs and heel guards to be a shiny black, is spray painting them possible?

powdercoated foot pegs and heel guards would cost you like 40$....well worth it,spray paint will just rub off.....

Hmmm...Powdercoat sounds expensive. Guess I should have checked in to that first!

Cheapest route is powder coating, or at least that I have found. The home brew anodizing which I wrote is more of something to do if you enjoy tinkering and doing stuff on your own and don't need it to be perfect.

A buddy of mine has been self anodizing his smaller parts and they have been coming out looking really good! It's a pretty interesting process to do, but definitely a doable DIY.

ya I am leaning toward the anodizing because I would like it to be something I do.
