flickering CEL and misfire at speed

Hi Everyone,
I just got my 03 XB9r 4 days ago and I have been riding her around the last few days to feel it out, but tonight a problem arose which I couldnt determine any obvious cause. while riding and three times after an upshift I would get a flickering CEL followed by a misfire if I pulled the clutch in and upshifted and let the bike out she was ok..this happened twice. Only thing I have done the bike is replace the speed sensor which was bad when I bought the bike. Any direction on where to start looking would be appreciated.

nedj10 let me know if you figure out your problem. i am having the same problems with my 04 xb12r. i am going to check my connections first like to other two post suggest.

Hi everyone, the problem was 2 fold 1 the battery connections had become lose under the seat and 2 the battery itself was bad..new battery and tightend the connections and the problem was resolved
