Cliffs:
Could someone post a picture of the underside of their relay box on the left side of their gauges? I need to verify I have the correct wires in the correct spots after swapping the mounting bracket.
Story:
when I got the bike, the relay mount clip was broke, so I finally ordered a new one. Went to put it on today and made two ridiculous rookie mistakes. First, I failed to take a picture of how the wires mounted in the underside of the bracket (however I wrote them down on a hand drawn diagram, but of course that's not always perfect). So I had nothing to double check my work. Secondly I didn't disconnect the battery.
Just as I was putting the last wires into it, I let two of the connectors touch, the fuel pump kicked on for a split second and that was that. Put it back together and I get nothing. Check all the fuses, and find the 30amp main is blown, so I replace it. The bike powers up now (gauge check, turn signals, horn, brights work), but I get no fuel pump, no headlight, and no starting button. I haven't put new relays in yet (I did move them around though), b/c I want to double check that I have the right wires in the right spots on the bracket.
I have noticed that even with all three relays out the bike does the same thing. It will turn on but no fuel pump/headlight.
