I'm looking for licence plate relocator for my new 2003 XB9S. I've looked at older posts on forums but did not find any websites where I can buy them.

Also looking for:
-Pair of frame pucks
-Handle bar mirrors

I plan to get them anodized this winter, I think it will look better than if I paint them. I suck at painting.

Ya and it will be more durable. I am getting my forks anodized over winter. You can't paint them. :)

Seriously...I spoke with my anodizer about this. It will bring out all the imperfections in the casting. Go for powder-coating in stead for cast parts. [up]

agreed, Powder Coating is the way to go IMO. :D

Dumb question. Are you referring to the seat rails, forks, or both?

Seat rails and tail for sure and the bottom sections of the forks (where the wheel and brakes mount). I think the tops may be machined but at that point powder-coat them all!

Good point 50. I forgot about the bottom of the forks. Powdercoat it is. Know any good local powdercoaters?

I planned on selling my cut cheesegrater, and I'll toss in the plate bracket to go with it. I'm not sure what the going rate is for them but let me know if you're interested.

I haven't used them myself, but a friend at work suggested Delp Powdercoating in Butler.

Thanks for the advice, I just thought the depth of an anodized part looks better than powdercoat. will this be an issue if I polish them first, or is it just a no go either way?

I'm gonna say it's an issue either way. I was told this when I was going to have my stock levers anodized. They are very smooth and polished so that's where my guess is coming from. You might want to check with an anodizer to be sure though?
