Hi all,
There was some interest a while ago for a product like this, thought you still might be interested.
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Portatarga-BUELL-XB-DIAVEL-LICENCE-PLATE-DIAVEL-STYLE-/170647744504?pt=Ricambi_e_Accessori_Moto&hash=item27bb65eff8#ht_817wt_1139
I am but not at that price, 5-0dro maybe this could be your next product?

I was and still am interested. I think it's too much for bent up piece of metal... It also may be too big for our license plates. I talked to dieselmoto.com about possibility of making it by them but they weren't interested...
5-0dro step in, there is a market for it...

yeah how about 50 bucks
edit: I'm all about cosmetic stuff but if it appears to be simple enough that I could attempt myself, I'm not spending to much for it.

Love it, that's always been one of my favorite style of license plate mounts. I don't care for the sideways mounts right next to the axle but that setup is cool. I wonder how he has it bolted on there.

Thanks guys for thinking of me on this one. I may put this on the "products to consider list?" I'd have to look into how it mounts and how sturdy it would be so that it's not potentially dangerous. Anyone have a better idea as to how these are typically mounted?
Just looked at the price!! 219 EU!!! That's $315US!!! Holy crap that's alot of cash for a bent piece of aluminum!! I'm with flaya on this one! I would expect it to be between $50- $80.

looks like it's only bolted to the swing arm from the left side, click on the link and enlarge the pics from ebay posting, the bracket is different from the pic posted above

Found a great picture of these on another site. They stopped making them in 2006, so I need to find someone to make me one. Any machinist out there willing to do it I will send you all the picture and info I have.http://www.buellxb.com/buell_images/4087_20120624155043_L.jpghttp://www.buellxb.com/buell_images/4087_20110619085603_L.jpg

Crxtasy That plate mount is sick. My dad is a tool and die maker and has an 4 axis mil. I might put the bug in his head about this one. I always liked duc fenders they mount like that. It would be cool to put the plate there and clean up the rear end some more

What would you do about a tag light though. Some states require it. Still looks good though.[cool]

I have a plate frame with 6 white LED's built in. I plan on running the wires up the back. I would really like to have a small channel way milled all the way along the back so I could tuck the wire in and just use black silicone over it and make it look completely flush and stealth.

Yeah that would be phenomenal if you could pull that off cleanly. Keep us updated. I have no doubt you can do it. It's just a long distance and a lot of thought into making it flush.[cool]

I had a license plate mount that attached to the axle with the sliders in, it broke off and my tag fell into the road. A police officer found it and brought it to me.

Can't find anyone to make this, getting very discouraged at this point I have been looking for one for years now. I'm about to give up on this one.

Had one found on Ebay on my wife's Buell a couple years back that was held on with the axle sliders. After not to long we took it off since the look isn't flow as well as a tail chop and low profile mount under the tail.
