700 miles in a day....

I just woke up at 0100 this morning to ride my XB12R 700 miles round trip (ok more like 670 miles but why not round up) to see my son for a few minutes. Worth it! I live in San Deigo and he lives in Lemoore and he graduates from Jr. High today and I want to surprise him!

I'm back and TIRED! 15 hours on the bike today and some of it in LA traffic but I got to see my son and the look on his face when I pulled in was PRICELESS!

Wow. I thought my tank held 4.2 gallons. I went about 174 miles between fillups and when I filled up I put in 3.6 gallons and thought I had plenty left but I looked at the manual.....3.8 gallons! That was close!

700 miles in a day....
