Found this for sale, I dont know if this would be beneficial or not if the ecm has already been remapped ?

Would it be beneficial if the ecm was stock and use this ?

Or you can get a custom tune for less.

If you had a CBR/Yamaha/etc..I would say go for it. Yes I have put many on here in the shop. And the Customer was pleased with it, mostly the big bikes. The Buells have a much different Ecm setup. You can use add on fuel packs power commander/Daytona Twin tec, and Vance & Hines & so on.Yes I'm gulity of having one on MY 06-rvt1000 RC 51 Honda ,the power commander for the New Sato Exhaust was the Best option and cost as well for two k&Ns air filters & the exhaust add on.The Ecm or Delphi system on the Buells is like Night and day.The Buells have a preset Maping and Epromm that is used for our Bikes.Erik Buell Racing .com has an ECM for a very reasonable price just make sure to explain what you have changed on the Bike.Like the exact exhaust /Air filter etc.. [Custom Tunning] is a good option as well but will take a little time to get it set up and the ECM Spy program is a good way to go. This is a powerful Tuner Tool and not to be taken lightly.You can Brick (ruin NOT FIXABLE) the Ecm, if you don't pay attention to details.A custom tune is a great option for a [Stock] Ecm .If you just want to plug it in DO a TPS-Throttle position Sensor, reset and Ride the EBR Ecm is your best bet.You can always pop that on and Then buy the cable for [learning] the Ecm Spy program, for your Stock Ecm.Don't USE the SPY program on Eriks Ecm. ECM SPY also has a diagnostics program included. Check(Xoptiinside.com) and read up on it. You need a Cable you can buy there-and the drivers are free and ECM Spy downloaded to your Desk top computer a Laptop is easier for mobility. I have found that Windows XP seems to be popular/ better for Spy/ & diagnostics.Windows 7 works as well. You can also check out American Sport Bike .com as well for parts for your Bike.
