Ok so most likely i will be getting rid of my first baby for a 2009 1125cr, shes a 2003 xb9r black plastics and swing arm and silver frame and forks she low sided on me from a bad head shake that threw me off while going down a back road and only damage to the bike is cosmetic to the plastics and broke both mirrors have the windscreen on that came with it when i bought it, also have black anodized break and shift levers, needs still a header (dented in but bike still rides put about 100 miles on it since the crash) if youre nit picky youll need new tail section plastic, front faring, and belly pan because they got damaged during the wreck. has new handle bars and grips on it and also needs a front break lever (i was borrowing the one off my moms blast haha) and also has the factory race kit and exhaust has dent underneath but not caused by my wreck, other things with the bike it will have the stock pirelli tires on it on the silver rims, has a frame puck on the left side (there is a dent on the frame on that side from previous owner) the right side has a dent as well from me and ripped the frame puck to shreds so i took it off. and pretty much the last issue with the bike is the fairing bracket corners (where the blinkers mount) are broke on both sides but i did a temp fix with jb-weld. I will take pics as soon as i can and will post them and my question here is what do you all think would be resonable for me to sell it for in its current state and if i buy the remaining parts less plastics and exhaust and sell it? or should i part it out and try to make money that way? because i was thinking of selling it for $2500 with the 14000 miles it has on it now does that seem like a good price area for her? considering i will be losing about 2000 on her.

here are pics of the bike and damages and where i have my fingers pointed on the front faring and rear faring are where i sanded and re painted with a can of gloss black, its not noticeable in the pics but in person you can see it

prices seems high for all the damage even if it is "minor" still would cost a lot to fix to new condition. my friend just bought an 03 xb with less miles and in perfect condition for $3000 so i would say a price of $2000 would be better but start at 2500 and see if you get any offers. heck i might even be interested if you go lower!

I hope you treat this one better !!! lol jk.... The price seems high to me also, I bought my 2005 with 7k miles in very good shape for $2500, which included new pirelli tires, new battery, and a helmet. I know I got a very good deal, but I don't think you'll be able to get more than $2,000, let alone $2,500.
