On my old S1 i was able to slide the fork tube up in the tree a litte bit, to get the front a little lower. But on my 06 bolt it seems as if this is not possible.
Seems to be some kind of tapper towards the top of the tune just inside the upper clamp. So to lower the front, what would I need to do, as in replace to lower the bit about an inch? New forks? upper clamp? Thanks

What ring? Didn't know anything about any rings. My S1 didn't have anything like that. Where are they? Inside the upper clamp?

Loosen the triple tree clamps lower and upper, slide down the forks and you will see the silver ring around each fork just take them off and you will be able to slide the forks higher up in the trees.

I don't approve of this message. Lol
