HID wiring?

Was wondering if anyone on here could get me a wiring schematic on how to wire my new HID's up with the slim balast... do i need a timer relay? and my bike has the duel headlight on mod and its a 03 xb9r

No relay on either of my bikes pretty much plug and play 2 blacks to ground and reds to power.

I would consider putting in a delay relay. My buddy just put hids on his bike and from the headlight flicking on and off whiling cranking the bike over it blew up his voltage regulator.

I have also heard of issues caused by not using a delay

I've use a relay, but no timing delay. No issues for nearly 2 years now.

I personally use both a relay and a separate switch to turn on the HIDs (using the high-beam flash button).
