Ok, so i got my ecmspy up and running and did the tps reset. I checked the air filter and the iat sensor and it was clean not a bunch of oil on it or nothin. My problem is afetr i ride for a constant speed for a bit i can feel it stumble a little then if i try to get on it it pops and has one heck of a hesitation. This only happens after a little ride and after i feel the stumble. Then when i come up to a stop light the idle is really jumpy it bounces really fast a couple hundred rpms. it did the exact same thing before tps reset, any suggestions. The bike has a jardine exhaust and the ECM says for race use only so i imagine its the race ecm. PS thanks for the help getting the ecm spy up and goin!!

What year is your bike? Might want to do the TPS reset over and see if that clears it up.Check for any binding of the Idle set cable. It's rare but I've seen it happen. As anrkizm asked is any codes coming up? Without the TPS reset correctly the Bikes idle will not be steady. Acceleration will be off unless a Steady Idle is Acheived. How many miles are on your Bike?Any Recient Mods done?I would start with a TPS reset and check for any(if any)codes.*Jimi

I heard the Buell rider/parts manager at the stealeRship I bot mine from telling a older gentleman, that if you just cruise around for any lenght of time, and the maps are not real/extremely close, the AFV will get set too low or high for the next section of the map, and that will cause some stumbling/popping and such, the nature of the beast with a learning ECM

The bike has 20,000 miles on it. I checked for codes had none in current or history. The adjuster cable was a little sticky and i did reset it twice. The bike will idle and run GREAT until after a little ride. Then i will feel that stumble at a steady throttle position and when i come up to a stop it will have the choppy idle. It is fine when i first take off. Just does it after a while into the ride. If i turn the ign off and back on quick goin down the road it wont do it for a while. Id say after riding for 5 minutes or so it will do it. the bike is an 03

My 07' is doing the same thing. I have 19,500 miles on it. I know I need new plugs so I'm going to start there.

From your post Try the TPS reset Again with the Air box removed so as to see the Throttle blade close.Watch for foreign things that may fall off you, and down the intake. The idle cable could be binding some not sure on that but it will elimanate the work needing to be done in order.Lube the Cable with Innox cable lube.Harley has it and others CALL around for that if need be.Check the Manuals for TPS Degrees etc..I forget at this time on the degrees.May need a new Throttle Position Sensor. If there's no intake leaks and all sensors are plugged & working, cables Especially the Idle free and lubed, take your time and you will find it.post up when you can.Jimi

Check your ground connections , if they become loose or corroded the bike will run like crap

What do you call a short ride? These bikes hate short rides.

What rpm range do you ride in? These bikes hate low rpm.

No codes means no codes, leave the sensor stuff alone.

Plugs would be first thing to check followed by plug cables.

Check throttle body making sure it's fairly even and close to the manifolds.

same shit im going through... And I think everyone is right... Over 4000 rpms it sings...so keep it there lol
Anyone know where you can get ecmpy that works... Mine is missing mono.dll...I downloaded the latest version of mono...put it in the same folder as ecmspy.... restarted the comp and it says missing mono.dll file..
Anyone know what the hell to do

Thanks
