What's the trick? I tried to download it as well and when I try to run the program it says its missing something. I'm not in front of my computer so I can't give you the exact message it gives. I will have Mt cable today and wanted to get it up and running so I can play around with it.

ah555666, OR any others you will all need to go to FTDI.com to get the newest drivers for the installation. Future Tech, Dist.Inc. they will have the Drivers for free.
You will have the cable so now when you get the drivers downloaded, it will need a com port to be selected for use once you start up the link for ECM Spy. But you will get to that later. Make sure to pick the latest Drivers for the best link up on your computer or Palm unit.
Drivers First, Then make sure to [Save your Stock] ECM maps/Epromm so if something was to happen you have something to [restart] from. Trust me I've seen many on several Forums that didn't do it and OPPs now what? Careful as you go along with the Spy Program it's a great Tool and Powerful to have with Diagnostics and TPS reset with exchanging maps and much more. Take your time (learn) it well. Do Have fun with it but also make sure to check out the maps and so on you choose not all are good for your the Engine in the bike. Ride Safe. *Jimi
