First off, this is my first time posting, but I've read a lot of posts on here and I really like the forum.
So anyway I bought some LED bar ends and wired them to blink with my blinkers. Everything was going good until one day I put my blinker on and blew the acc fuse. I checked my connections and blew another fuse (this time it was the key fuse) It ended up being that the hole I drilled into the handle bar had slightly stripped the wire and grounded it. So I filed it down and replaced that portion of wire.
Now, my blinkers don't work at all.
Here's the weird part, I used a light meter and connected the middle and right prong on the flasher and the lights come on. Assuming that it might be the flasher I changed it, but it had no effect. I checked all my fuses, the flasher, all my grounds... I was thinking that maybe when I blew a fuse I also blew the turn signal switch? I don't know if that sounds reasonable or not, I opened it up and used a volt meter and I have power going to both directions so I don't know what else it would be.
I also have an integrated brake light and HID's (relayed to the battery) and those both work (not the turn signals obviously).
All signals DO turn on when I use the light meter and connect the right prongs...
