Hello Guys,

I'm trying to optimize my fuel maps with megalog/ecmspy strategy. I did some logging today and I noticed when my bike was running with afv (min and max) at 100 and no open loop learning; The bike was perfectly running...really smootch and no backfiring at all.
Can I leave the AFV always at 100??? What are the implications of leaving open loop learning off???

Best regards,

Franklin

I wouldn't believe that is a good idea. You have a closed loop and open loop on Buells and the OH Yes it will run I believe Sweet is what they say. So these bikes need the Open and Closed loop system. You can do that if you like but make sure to save the orignal program to fall back on. I figure you mileage will go to a different standard. It's not a Carbed bike so we can't cheat. Try it at 100 and see if it goes alright. A little more data logging once that is done would be in order. Make sure to use the bike in traffic ss well as the highway. Watch the closed loop I figure about 25 to 40 mins of data log will help you on this.Make sure to log a ride several more times.*Jimi
