Not trying to open a can of worms here, just want opinions of those who have the chain conversion.
1: Where can i get one for my 03' xb9s?
2: Is it worth getting taller gearing to lower rpms on the highway?
3: Is the lower rpms worth the bottom end loss?

I have no issues with my belt and love it, but feel like i'm winding it out on the highway to my favourite twisty roads. (4000rpm at 120kmh).
I "only" have 60600 kms on it so far.. [smirk]

Any input is always appreciated. Thanks!!

Cool. Looks like most everyone just runs a belt. Less for me to think about, and more money for another mod instead! :D

You could certainly reduce the gearing a bit for highway mileage.

Most people that convert do so for racing purposes or stunting.

4000rpm is right about the sweetspot for your bike. Its not working very hard at all to push that engine speed.

switch your primary to the 12 gearing to drop rpms. would be cheaper too.

You could probably make some $$ off of a primary swap. Lots of 12 guys want the lower 9 gearing.

Right on! Thanks for the advice.
