Hey gents,

I have recently been thinking about turning my all black 1125r into a black and gold bike. What I mean by this is having my wheels powdercoated gold like on the XBs. I would buy the gold wheels, but my wheels are in perfect condition, so no need to replace them. Second, I would like to install an amber windscreen and amber buell decals/badges. However, i have run into a problem: I have not yet been able to locate amber windscreens or badging for the 1125R. I also would like to know if the wheels from the 1125 are the same as the wheels from the buell XB's. If anybody has any information regarding the wheels, wind screen, or badging, please shoot me a pm or reply on this thread. Thank you very mich for your time.

Wheels: Same as XB
Windscreen: Try Zero G maybe?
Badging: Have them made at a vinyl shop.

Badging: The 2007 Valencia Orange XB's had gold lettering on the airbox. You could try them. I have the part numbers for them at home if you want/need them.

I dont think an amber/ gold windscreen was ever made for the 1125... but I didnt think a red one was either, but I saw one the other day...so dont take my word for it.

Cool! Thanks alot guys. I want to either powdercoat my wheels or do a trade for the amber ones, but i'm still in the deciding stage. Black and gold or black and red. So many choices. Thank you everyone for yoru responses!

If you can't find an amber windscreen, you could also contact a tint shop and have it tinted on the inside. I know I have seen some amber window tint on vehicles here in GA, so it does exist. Also an '04 XB12R was available in Black/Gold, so you might source a nice used airbox cover from one of them. It's a direct fit for an 1125R/CR.

Really a direct fit? I was not sure if they would fit or not, due to the slight variances in the frame. But I have seen a transparent cherry bomb airbox cover on an 1125R around the word wayd intanetz, so I just nay have to look further into this. Thanks so much for the info!
