i bought stuff from him. I actually got mine, but i never got a tracking number and he never responded to me. I think he made the sales, shipped them, and disappeared.

I'm having a similar concern with Jornum1 after I sent paypal for a fairing stay.

I am new to the whole paypal thing but I thought there was somehow it was safer than just sending money? No way to go after him?

Speaking of "whered this guy go"... Get lost Sunday? ;)

Yeah, the whole "safe way to send money" is a little less safe than i thought. I think you can just open a dispute on paypal and if he doesnt send you tracking numbers paypal will automatically refund you the money.

I got scammed kinda the opposite. I sent a book for school to a guy through my school for 70 bucks. my school shipped it and wouldnt provide me with a tracking number and i told him that. (shouldnt have). he opened a dispute knowing i wouldnt be able to provide a tracking number...boom. he got my 70 dollar book and took his money back from me. I lost the book and the money i made. oh well, not the end of the world, but i was pretty ticked.

All of that is to say i think you can get it back, you just have to go through the "dispute" process, which is pretty simple i think.

I've seen enough threads where people get real nasty only to find that the other part has been hurt, or worse, after the last contact.

I can wait if I know there's an issue, but I'd like to know.

Hopefully he is ok. I would wait it out a little while, and then open a dispute. 15 bucks isnt going to kill you, but i would want some answers.

Burton, yeah.. good idea. I'm not too concerned about 15 bucks.. I just would like to know what the heck the delay is, or if I never get it, why..

NwRider.. hey bud, yep, as a matter of fact I did!
I got stuck at the back of the pack w/full tilt in traffic. then, the lead missed a turn & we ended way up on pumpkin ridge, haha! had fun though..

Hey Tad, i bought the tail light and i got it. However it took him a while to reply and when he did he gave me a tracking number. Doubt he will run with your $15.

Hey NWRider, nice riding with you. Bad ass bike man! Keep the blue frame ;) And lets do the Detroit lake run soon.

RJ, Yeah, I noticed you had it on your bike at the ride, looked good!(good times) didn't know you got it from him, though.. I've e-mailed him(knight metro)a few times w/no reply, guess time will tell...

Detroit lake & back up over 224 to estacada is a fav. ride of mine! I tried it in may but 224 was still snowed in, had to turn around.. Give me a shout if you & NwRider can make it happen soon.. I can break away almost anytime. (maybe we would have better luck sticking together in a smaller group, hahaha!) By the way, where the he@ll is "BIG AL's" anyway?

Thumpin.. I tried it in early June and the top was still covered in snow.

Onelogue.. Yea that was fun. Never ridden with such a huge group.

Was nice to meet both you guys. After I left I had the itch to ride some more and ended up at Barney Reservoir. I love Oregon back roads.

I broke my front engine mount bolts on the way home but should be fixed up next week. Luckily a block from my house. Soon as I am all fixed up we should plan a ride.

To stay on topic. I hope you get your part Thumpin! ;)

I posted a question above regarding Jornum1.

The part arrived today and everything looks good.

Thanks, Jornum1.

Hope it works out well for you, too, thumpin
