better price for the same thing,

Buellparts.net is under the same ownership as this forum, and buying from the site helps the forum.

dave xb12r...understood[up] but in today's economy one can't help but try to save some $$$ where ever they can,
i don't believe it's a bad thing at all to share any info that i may have in helping out fellow Buellers in getting something that's needed or wanted...if it means saving a few bucks, then so be it. i work on a budget, probably just like everyone else on the forum, therefor i would appreciate help from someone else letting me know i can get something cheaper from somewhere else if possible unless Buellparts.net was the only game in town where anyone could get parts to keep our Buells on the road. that's all good and well that Buellparts.net share the same ownership, but how do they stay competitive in the market of carrying Buell parts when in fact there are other outlets carrying the very same parts for less, not just talking about mom and pop businesses but HD dealers offer parts at a lower cost. it's a no brainer where one would go to get their parts in order to save $$$. loyalty is one thing, surviving in this economy is another. look man, i'm not trying to piss in your gravy, i'm just merely helping out a fellow Bueller, hmmmm, thought that's what this forum was all about[confused]

it is about helping your fellow bueller, and how much do you save, when me and the wife go out for dinner (rarely, now) I have no problem tipping the wait staff a couple of bucks, for good service, so, what's the difference, now if I can get the exact same meal for 50% less somewhere else, I don't think anyone would fault you for it, but, just a couple of bucks aint gonna hurt, but it certainly can help, JMHO
