Hey Le Fox, I was checking out this Ventura pack system on American Sport Bike but I can't seem to find a way to buy the rack and not the bag on their site. Do you know of any other U.S. dealers or a way to get the sport rack and not the luggage? This would be a great way for me to eliminate a lot of driving. I hate having to get in my car to take a small box to FedEx/Post office all the time.

if it's not that big just get a backpack. I do it all the time, put my Kevlar (army helmet) and IBA (bullet proof vest) in my bag and go to work.

Here (http://www.casporttouring.com/store/merchant.mvc?store_code=CST&screen=PROD&product_code=ventkbu1009) is one for almost $100 cheaper...not sure if it fits your bike though, just trying to be helpful. I haven't found just the rack yet, maybe you could contact the site and they could tell you.
Look at these...
L Bracket (http://www.adrenalinmoto.co.uk/prods/55.html)
Sport Rack (http://www.adrenalinmoto.co.uk/prods/61.html)
You'll have to ask LeFox or BPG if it will fit though, because it says....Available for S1, M2, S3, S3T and X1 models. PLEASE STATE EXACT MODEL WHEN ORDERING.

there are several in the u.s. you no need to buy through asb.
but fyi, asb lists a ventura-pack, which means complete bracket, sport rack, tall rack and bag. ;)

Yes, but he was just asking for the bracket and rack, without the bag. The last two would fit that perfect if they were available for his model. Just trying to help.

Thanks guys. I found the L-bracket and Sport rack for sale separately at cycleventure.com if anyone else is interested. This is great looking rack system for sport-bikes.[up]

Hi guys, do any of you have any close up pics of how these racks mount?
Do they use the passenger footpeg mounting points? I am going to build my own and was looking for ideas of how to mount it.
I will be sure to post up pics when I complete it.

nope, can't help you there (yet)
but if you're making them yourselves, you are pretty much free to fit them how you want.
if the load will be high, i would suggest using those passenger peg mounts. ;)

I have seen the pics on the website, but they are not too revealing. I want to use the same basic style as the Ventura where I can put different racks on, or just use it as a grab rail.
I want something really clean and low profile that I can remove easily.
I will start a thread in the mods section when I get it underway. I am getting tired of wearing a backpack on these hot summer days!
