Stock to race exhaust

Installing a buell race exhaust onto my 04' fireboat this weekend. Just took off my stock can and was wondering if I can pull out the backpressure actuator cable. Also I'm installing a k&n, and 05' race ECM. Will the race ECM override the computer so my dash doesn't signal a problem.

Any and all help appreciated, maybe even a walk through, thanks in advance for your time. Excited to get her put back together!

From what I've read the race ecmspy doesn't actuate the exhaust valve so it won't set a cel. With that being said, Id take the whole actuater system off.

Yep, with the race ECM you can just take all the servo stuff off the bike...weight redux for the win! Lol
